The creators of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile announced the release date of the novelty in a fresh trailer – the game will be released on iOS and Android mobile devices on March 21.
Those who wish can pass registration for the shooter – for this allocate separate bonuses for users like the skin Gowsta. Last October, it was reported that the number of pre-registrations has already passed 45 million people.
At the release itself, players will be able to join battles on the “Verdansk” map, which supports up to 120 fighters. In addition, there will be a map “Revival Island” (up to 48 fighters) and modes for multiplayer.
In particular, we are talking about the modes “Excellence” and “Team Deathmatch”, which will be deployed on the territories of the map of the same Verdansk. The modes will help players level up their weapons outside of the battle royal.
Warzone Mobile will also support cross-progression with Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2023) on PC, but no crossplay is expected.
The mobile version of Warzone was originally going to be released last May, but then the release date moved to November and later to this spring.
Verdansk, by the way, should return in a full-fledged new installment of the series, which is coming out this year. The game, titled Call of DutyBlack Ops Gulf War, is expected to tell the story of the Gulf War.
And recently Activision banned 6,000 cheaters in Call of Duty in four days. Players, however, believe that this is not enough.
