Strange Scaffold Studios has announced an agreement with publisher Frosty Pop. The agreement will result in the release of five games: I Am Your Beast, Life Eater, mobile version of El Paso, Elsewhere and two more unannounced projects.
Strange Scaffold is known for neo-noir shooter El Paso, Elsewhere, unusual business simulator Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, narrative poker adventure Sunshine Shuffle and comedy adventure An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs. The developers haven’t yet introduced I Am Your Beast, but we’ll get to know Life Eater soon.
In Life Eater an unusual and quite cruel occupation awaits us. Our hero is a modern druid who leads an ordinary life in a big city. But once a year he has to save the world by sacrificing certain people to the dark god. The difficulty is that they are described very roughly.
Players will have to keep an eye on potential candidates for cruel death, study their schedules, make kidnapping plans and put them into practice. The main difficulty is that time is short, there are many candidates and there is always a possibility of making a mistake.
Life Eater is released on Steam on April 16. The game is priced at $15, regional pricing is not yet known.
The announcement of Life Eater brings a chilling twist to the horror genre. Playing as a modern druid tasked with sacrificing people to a dark god promises a unique and intense gaming experience.
Life Eater’s premise is both intriguing and unsettling. The blend of strategy and horror elements as players navigate the responsibility of choosing sacrifices adds a layer of complexity to the game.
Strange Scaffold Studios continues to push boundaries with their game concepts. Life Eater’s focus on decision-making and time management in a morally ambiguous setting is sure to captivate players.
The lineup of games announced by Strange Scaffold Studios promises a diverse range of experiences. Life Eater’s dark and atmospheric gameplay adds an intriguing entry to their portfolio.
